CLEP Examinations

In order to receive credit for a CLEP exam, the student must take a CLEP subject exam. The exam must be taken prior to earning 26 hours of acceptable college work in order to receive credit under CLEP. Note: The ECE Department does not give credit based on high ACT scores, as do some other departments. However, a score of 25 or greater on an English ACT test taken before Oct. 1989 or a score of 29 or greater on an English ACT test taken after Oct. 1989 or an SAT score of 570 or greater exempts a student from taking English 101.
