Undergraduate
Scholarships
The School of Engineering
has a number of scholarships which it awards to engineering
students. Normally, the student applies for the scholarships
in the spring semester of the academic year. They are awarded
for the next academic year and run for the full year. Occasionally,
however, monies become available too late to be awarded starting
in the fall, and a limited number may be awarded for the spring
semester only. Applications for these would be taken in the
fall semester. Some scholarships are specifically designated
to be for EE students, computer students, minorities, women,
or other similar designation.
Also, some effort is made to distribute undesignated scholarships
as widely as possible. Thus, some awards are small. The application
form is simple to fill out.
See Roberta M. Menicucci in ECE 115 for scholarship forms. If you
are a Computer Engineering student, so indicate on your application
form, since this fact may make you eligible for a designated
scholarship.
